Place a Table at the Top of a Page
The Problem:
I want to place a table at the top of a new page, but I don't want a paragraph mark to appear before it. Sometimes I can get this to work, but usually not.
The Solution:
Click in the first row of the table, choose Format 
Paragraph, click the Line and Page Breaks tab, and check the "Page break before" box. Don't put a hard page break (Ctrl+Enter) before the table, or you'll get that unwanted paragraph mark.
